1989...the year when owning a 5.0 was king....where the Bay Area's rival baseball teams were in the final dance for supremacy... and where an earthquake that changed lives forever. In the streets of Oakland, there was an album that changed the sound and ushered in a new era of music. With the production of J.E.D. and DJ Darryl backed with the vocals of D-Loc and Richie Rich, the group known as 415 dominated the streets with the album 41Fivin. This album produced one of the most popular anthems in Bay Area music, the immortal "Sideshow", which to this day is still burning the streets. Join The Saint and The Evocalist as they take a look back at how this album changed the lives of many during that era. Also, we introduce the music of two Hip Hop artists from The Primary Collective, which includes one of our own from The Bay. This is going to be one for the history books.
